  1. I just swapped my acoustic electric guitar for a 7yr. old Peavey j-bass, black with a maple neck and a rosewood finger board.

  2. better than having to go poovey if you are on the computer and not in the bathroom.

Nice score, what model is it (not a peavey expert in the least)

    Is that a Fury model?

  4. From what I can tell it's an American made foundation fretless. The girl I swapped with said she bought it seven years ago.

  5. Congrats. Peavey's RAWK!! :bassist:

  6. sounds like a darn good trade to me.

  7. Definitely older than 7 years. My guess, about 96 - 97. The pickups make it post 94, and Peavey elongated the upper horn when they changed the model to the Foundation 2000. The 90's Foundations are really nice playing, are very light, and sound great. I play them before all of my basses, including my vintage Fenders. Nice trade.

You can find out exactly when it was made by posting your serial number on the Peavey bass forum at the Peavey web site. They were able to tell me the month and year of manufacture of all of my Peaveys.

  9. You can't do that right now though, it's apparently down for the time being, and possibly for good.

  11. Yes it is a post '92 Foundation.... very nice. I love mine. Put some TI jazz Flats on it and you will be in heaven.
