I picked up a new MIM Fender P-bass from Guitar Center. What is special about this P-bass you may ask. It has a natural finish, and a satin finished neck. For some reason this bass sounds better than any other MIM Fender I've tried.I don't know if its different wiring or what.

I've wanted a natural/rosewood P-bass ever since I saw Ian Grushka from New Found Glory play a natural/rosewood once with a black pearl pickguard. Now I of course have to add a black pearl pickguard. No pics until the new guard is on. It just doesn't feel right. But I'm proud as a punch of this bass. Its plays and sounds better than any MIM Fender I've ever tried, and I can't get over it. But that doesn't mean the pickup isn't coming out and an SPB-3 isn't going in.
