I just had the frets removed and the fingerboard dressed on my warwick corvette, it sounds great fretless and looks great also, I would have liked to just put a new neck on it but warwick wont sell them due to the ser# stamped on the top, the top markers are on center but its not a big deal, has anyone had this done and wish that they did not ? give me some feedback,

I was shopping for a fretless... found "The Bass" I wanted, but it was fretted. I made it fretless myself

would/will I do it again: Yes
    Do/have I regretted it: No

  3. I did the same on a Peavey TL-5 five string. In no way do I regret it. The large mother-of-pearl fretboard inlays provide a bit of string buzz but, overall, I'm very happy with it. Have fun with your new fretless!
