I hate it, but it makes me a better player

    Hang in there, all my basses are 5 string and now
    a 4 string feels odd.

    Wish I could say the same. I just never developed the jones for 5's. But just like LBS, I've rejoined the 5 club, at least at home :D

    I know the feeling. I pick up the four-string and suddenly a burden I'd forgotten about has been lifted.

    But for some vaguely covid-related reasons I currently only have a six-string bass to practice on. With luck I'll finally get my four-string fixed soon, and I'll see what it feels like to pick it up again after over a year off....
