i have a question about "Loan Me a Dime"

  1. what kind of bass did the player use...sounds like a Precision to me, but i would appreciate thoughts from someone who knows

    and, I guess, second, who WAS the player...he sounds good whoever he is.

    The bass player on the "Boz Scaggs" album was David Hood. He was part of the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. That is where the album was recorded. David Hood has played with quite a few artists. I am not sure what bass he was using on that album. Great song.

    1-1956-P-Bass
    2- Alembic ?
    3-Jazz Bass
