I have the Boss equalizer pedal........

    like the one on the musiciansfriends website...but i dont really know what each knob does,,and how it effecrts mysound...i know the first three have somethin to do with the bass and the last few have to do with treble but not quite shore....any help would be helpful...thanks

    This is the 7 band EQ pedal (GEB-7).


    Basically, you can EQ your sound. From left to right - bass frequencies, mid frequencies ,and treble frequencies. The last slider shows how much overall boost or cut the pedal gives.

    Pushing the slider up, will boost that particukar frequency, pushing it down will cut that frequency.

    Always, 'average' the boosting/cutting about the centreline.

    Your best bet, is to sit with your bass plugged in, and whilst plucking a string, adjust the sliders on the pedal until you get a feel for what each of them does, then build a sound from there!
