I took some time last night to defret my cort curbow 6.. It sounds WAY better defretted. It has the bartolini mk-1 pickup and an aguilar obp-1 preamp I installed a few days ago as well.. The ebanol held up well and fret removal was a breeze. Once heated a bit, the frets were easy to remove. Lots of mwah ;) I gotta finish up with sanding and/or an epoxy, but so far I'm thrilled. The bass looks really classy with the all black fingerboard, black headstock, and black body :) Kinda like a pimp caddy or something.. hehe..
