Well actually I do know how it gets here....by Fed Ex. LOL :D I ordered this, my newest family edition, a week ago from Musicians Friend. Fast service and fast shipping! Used it last night at practice and it is everything I expected!

  3. I have wondered about those for some time now... How does it feel? Is it heavy? AND whats it like not having a tapered neck?

And Congrats on your new friend.

    Thanks!

I love them! I also have a 4003 Midnite Blue that I bought about 6 months ago. Don't find these 4003's heavy at all. The neck is fast. I am so used to them that when I play my EBMM Sterling it feels like I am playing an unpolished piece of wood. The Sterling has a nice slim, fast neck but now that I am back to the Rics it just doesn't get played.
