    Several months ago I got all huffy and posted an I'm leaving thread. I was mad because sveral of the threads that I was posting in were shut down simultaneously. After some reflection I have realized that I was probably more angry about other things in my life. I'm going through a divorce.

    My wife had me thrown in jail for disorderly conduct. We had an argument and I threw my computer printer(not at her). The police would not allow me back into the house which we rent from my Grandfather. It took me over a month to get back home.

    Now I'm back and things are getting better, but I could use all the friends I can get. I enjoyed my time here and I was hoping that no one would object to my returning to talkbass. Sorry I acted like such a spaz...

    hey, you should've told the wife: You knew I played bass. Of course I had to have a fodera, and yes I had to sell you car to get it. :D

    These women who marry bass players usually don't know what they're gettin into.:rolleyes:

    Yeah I guess she really didn't know! Up until recently I had more money in my bass than my car. Now that she's gone I have a nicer car too!:eek:

    Thanks and yes it was my printer and it was broken. But that doesn't make me any less of a spaz. That little episode has cost me a fortune in lawyer fees. I really did not realiize that you could be arrested for throwing something in your own house. Oh well I guess ignorance is no excuse.


    Well oddly enough I'm off to a wedding:eek: Catch you bros later.

    Thanks to all for the welcome! I feel I'm truly back at home now.:)

    Yeah, that really sucks about the divorce. But, if she can't accept the fact that you love to play music, you're better off without. You have a right to be happy too.

    So, even though you threw the printer-not at her either-she called the police and pressed charges??

    Sounds like you're better off without her.
    And remember, you have a whole family right here at talkbass!
