How many strings? active or passive...which one exactly? I have an old Corvette Proline 5 and I like it a lot;), especially the maple neck.

So many questions. It is a five string. It is active. It is tough switching from a four to a five...in a music reading manner. I played somewhere tonight and messed a few things up because of my string confusion. I will get used to it though.:)

Hey hey now. I am really not ready for a six. I have never even played one. Plus, I have no money to even think about that. I am more worried about getting a new cabinet though.

check out mesa boogie powerhouse cabs. They have a built in crossover and are made of birch (very light).
