There's a new film coming out called Bohemium Rhapsody starring Rami Malek looks good and I'm looking forward to seeing it. I think Freddie was an absolute genius. How the bass parts were recorded starts at 9:00

    And here's the movie

Freddie was one of the most talented rock musicians of all time, and perhaps the best lead singer in all of rock. I love that man with all my heart, and miss him badly.

He was also a genius behind the mixing board.

He's my #1 all time favorite male rock vocalist (female = Janis Joplin).

I was fortunate enough to see Queen on their “News of the World” tour.

The movie looks promising and the guy playing Brian looks identical to him.

    And I miss Freddie everyday.

Queen is the band that got me into playing music. I'm very excited to see this!

Yep - I am among those who think Freddie was among the greatest rock vocalists of all time, if not the king of them all. Definitely looking forward to the movie.

I'm really looking forward to the movie too.
I only saw Queen live once, way back in 1984 and it was definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Yep... as usual, the appreciation for someone/something grows exponentially the older (and hopefully wiser) you get. Same with Deacon... didn't appreciate him the way I should have, until I learned the bass lines from a couple of Queen songs... both challenging and fun to play!

I can´t imagine a film that is closer to Freddie´s life than this one:

The actor must be Freddie´s brother.

Queen as a whole was full of amazing musicians and songwriters. Freddie is sorely missed for sure.

Not a huge fan of Queen, but it certainly looks like an interesting movie. I'm surprised they found such a lookalike for Freddie. The resemblance in uncanny!

Regardless, he's probably the best rock vocalist of all time.
