Any suggestions? I live in the D.C. burbs. Specifically northwest of DC, in Maryland. I have a Demeter VTBP 201s with a scratchy input. I've tried the DeOxit spray. It worked for a short time but the scratchiness came back soooooo I thought I should probably take it in to get looked at.

  2. There's an amp tech recommendation thread around here somewhere... I'm not in DC or I'd give my $.02

Sliderbass Dr. Bass, The best cabinet you'll NEVER own!

He's in Damascus. Not sure if he will since he's more of a tube amp guy but it's worth a shot. Just google him and his site & info will pop up.

The only other place I know of is on viers mill road a block from chuck levines. They fixed an Eden amp for me about two years ago. Ok I guess...

The guy at central electronics in Capitol Heights is great and cheap. (301) 336-8589

Pete cage only works on low power tube amps.

There is also a shop behind Atomic Music in Beltsville that does all sorts of amp repairs.

There is another guy in Hyattsville but I can't remember his name.
