i need a keyboard/synth

    for my home recording i was using my brother's roland JV 80 synth. but my bro sold the thing without telling me. can you name other models similar to the jv 80. i need nothing special, i do the drums with the key and everything that can do that is good for me. i prefer used models.

    You can always look for a used JV80. A lot of the Roland models are based on the same synth engine, so a majority of them sound similar. Look at Roland's XP line, like the XP30 or 60 as well.

    Other brands to check out are Yamaha for the EX5, EX7, and Motif. And Korg for the Trinity, Karma, and Triton. These are probably more high end than you need though.
