I need a list of available Fenders.

  1. I decided my next bass will have the neck adjustment at the headstock.

What fender basses, no matter country of origin, can be adjusted at the headstock.

I ask because it's hard to tell on Musicians Friend, and sometimes the ad copy seems a little vague.

I am a headstock fan as well, but a Fender isn't a Fender without the base adjustment....

  3. I'm curious as to why it matters? My jazz basses both have it at the body, and it's easy enough to get to (there's a notch in the pickguard).

  4. If you can keep the neck on I guess it wouldn't matter. Do the new Fenders all have the notch?

My '77 MIA Jazz has the bullet trussrod adjustment at the head stock, and I dare anyone to tell me that it's not a Fender.

If they are MIA they usually have the notch. The MIMs and some MIJs only have it at the headstock. You can go to your nearest Fender dealer and see what they have.
