I need a mp3 to wav converter

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Freaky Fender, Jul 12, 2004.

  1. Bejamin Strange sent me a bass line that I was going to add to one of my songs. I noticed when he sent me it, it was an mp3. I asked him to change it to a wav file because I don't have a converter. When I went to add it to the song, the computer said it wasn't a valid wav file. I go to winamp, adjust the end of it, and now it plays fine (You can't convert it to a wav by just typing .wav strange!) So now I need a program. I've been to download.com, and so far I've gotten a trojan horse (anti-virus got it though) and three programs that don't work with me. I need help here.

    Use Winamp's disk writer plugin for making a .wav.

    Options -> Preferences -> Plugins -> Output

    Select the disk writer plugin and configure.

    Now any song you play is converted to .wav

    To change back, select one of the other two output plugins again.
