I need a Rotosound Steve Harris set in EXTRA long scale...

  1. I've really been digging the Rotosound SH77 set of flatwounds. Does anyone know if I can find these in extra long..? I need them for a string thru Gibson Ripper. I might have to get the RS 88EL black nylons but wanted to see if anyone knows of an extra long similar to the Steve Harris set. thnx

I'm surprised this hasn't been answered, but the Jazz Bass 77 flatwounds are available in an extra-long set. The Steve Harris strings are the same as the Jazz Bass 77 strings, they just have different colors on the end - West Ham football colors.

If I'm smart enough to be able to post a link properly, that should be a link for the extra long set you're looking for on Amazon.

I use the Harris signatures, awesome strings, the only flats I use...on a separate note, I wouldn't use them on a string thru, I would keep them top load only.
    Rock on.
