Just be glad you're not a man.
Took me a while to get that one.
... uhm, study theroy? Work on one handed tapping?
hey, at least you get that cool bass clef on your cast.
good luck, nancy, and hang in there. it'll be ready for you when you're healed
I just clicked on this to find out what "compation" is. Now I understand. I thought it was some word I was just not familiar with.
Some might say it IS a word I'm not familiar with.
A little compassion might help, too.
Cool hair, I like it. When I was 9, I broke my arm. I didn't play an instrument back then, but it still stunk. I hope you heal up soon so you can get back to playing that pretty cort. But it's missign some metal thingies on the fretboard...
And I see you have TB on the screen in the back... Way to represent!
Good luck with the wrist.
Wow...what a great drawing of a bass clef.
get well soon
I did it with my right hand and I am lefty
Thank you to everyone, I really need it!!
A friend of mine who's a bassist broke his wrist once. I felt bad for him until it got me some more gigs filling in for him.
sorry about your injury,
I feel sorry for Nancy because she is a great student and she was playing at least one hour a day.
Hope you get well soon
I heard of a guy one time that had had carpal tunnel surgery, and the next day or so, he played a gig. Problem was, he wasn't very dextrous after the surgery, so he decided to use a pick. But he didn't have the strength to hold on to it, so he just superglued it in his fingers. The next day, he was in quite a bit of pain, but the show went great.
Now's a great time to work on your right hand technique. Or your playing bass with your toes technique.
wow, smartasses abound in this place :scowl:
i'm so proud -sniff-
OT: The home sweet home of TB jackassery!
Yeah, well you could always go suck your thumb.
Feel better there... Cheers
Get well soon. Try and clock somebody with that cast for me. I've always wanted to do that, never had the chance.
