Isn't that a 400 head? With that photo I'd say it would go for 125.00 - 150.00. The cabinet-maybe the same? That Maxon tube compressor may be worth about a 100.00. I'd offer 350.00

That amp is from the mid '70s...they seem to hold up well, but their value doesn't.

That's a guitar cab, IIRC, not a bass cabinet...especially with aluminum dome speakers. In those days, Peavey made bass cabinets with 15s and 18s, not 10s or 12s...certainly not 12s anyway.

I think $400 for that rig is too much...

Search www.musicgoround.com They seem to always have old Peavey stuff in their stores and would give you something to compare to.

a Peavey Bass head (albeit in less clean condition)

a Peavey 2x15 bass cabinet from the same era

    a similar Peavey 4x12 cabinet

I believe that amp is rated 200 watts into 2 ohms so at 4 ohms (which the cabinet would be if the speakers are original) it'll be less...maybe 125 watts (?). It does have distortion and fuzz on the fancy channel (along with a six band graphic (with rotary controls)).

I wanted one of those amps in the worst way when I was in High School...
