I need help identifying neck in this bass.(Fender?)

Welcome to TalkBass and yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

Interesting bass you have there. I understand the need to find out as much about it as possible, but the "big picture" is if it feels good, gives you the sound you want and you like how it feels, it doesn't really matter where it's from.

On a side-note, it took me part of the day to realize your avatar has been given the "Doraemon" treatment. Well done! And silly me, for taking so long to catch that reference! It makes me wonder if you've seen this little gem.

Whatever chicanery transpired, it was a LONG time ago. If it plays well, who cares when it was made? Parts basses like this can be better players than original genenuine Fender...or not. A lot of the Lawsuit Japanese stuff was superb.
I read how rather than trying to pursue overseas builders with expensive, possibly fruitless lawsuits, the newly formed FMIC tried a different approach. When faced with that potential legal outcome, and in light of the quality of these "lawsuit instruments", the newly formed FMIC pulled an "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" approach and created the Fender-Japan joint venture.

Haha, thanks for the interesting short film!
I write short animations too, so that was really inspiring!👍

"If it sounds good, then there's nothing wrong with it"—absolutely right!

This bass has a short sustain and a warm sound, with a proper plate spring bridge mute mounted under the bridge cover.
Pickups are Fender lace sensor for both P and J
They are running on active circuit.

People around me sometimes ask about this neck, and since I don't have an answer, I've been a bit at a loss.😇
