Ok, Ive recently stumbled across a nice set of semore duncans j2 pickus (Think there a j2? therer the ones that duff makagen uses anyway!) And im looking for a good bass to put them in! But also a cheap one! The one im looking to buy has an alder body rosewood fret board and a maple neck. Is this a good bass to put them in or is there other things apart from what wood there made of?

mahogany bodies are really good for the type of pickups you are speaking about. i would get a schecter jazz copy or a brice douglas

just make sure you know how to solder the cables and solder the ground or you will have a noisy bass that doens't sound good  :( :rollno: :crying:
