i need help with pickups

    putting the pickup hight will it make it louder:eyebrow:

  5. raising the pup at either end a little will make a bit of a louder response. as lowering it at either end will make it a bit quieter. However U CAN go TOO close to the strings & "choke" the sound,so a little at a time

    IF, of course, thats WHAT U R asking??????????

    actually, raising the pickup to high can begin magnetically muting the strings decreasing sustain.

    This board is a lot like Jeopardy (the TV game show)--you should say what you want in the form of a question. What exactly do you need to know?
