So I bought this cool aria SB1000. Great bass, problem is, I only have the three fingers on my fretting(left) hand.
I find the neck very wide and can't get used to it. I found someone(On another website) willing to trade the aria and 300$ cash on my part, for a 2001 MM sterling. They are supposed to be easier to play. My bass is reduced in value because it had a crack in the headstock.
Does this seem like a reasonable deal? Unfortunatley, there is nowhere local where I can try a sterling. I play funky, rock stuff with touch of slapping. Will the Sterling do it?
    Thanks

+1 on the Sterling...I am not a huge Stingray fan but dig the Sterling.

Either one works for me and I light the weight!
