I'm not sure if this is the right category, but anyways...

I would like a new pickguard colour for my bass.

    This is my bass:

Black with this colour looks great, but I'd like to see what else could be a possibility. (Btw what colour is that for my bass? Orange? Yellow? Natural?)

Also, no tort. I hate it.

That black looks excellent. Anything but tort, it's so awful.

Are wooden pickguards a thing? A walnut or rosewood pickguard would be sweet.

Man trust me, stick with the black pickguard. And that comes from a guy who hates black on bass guitars. But really, anything else on a yellow/orange bass looks like... well... crap.

I'd call that natural with a vintage tint. I'd also say black is the right PG for that color!

As far as wooden PG's go, I know they make them for guitars, and I'm sure a bass wouldn't be any different. Like el_Bajo_Verde says, something dark like walnut or rosewood would look good. Might even be able to pull off some exotic like zebra or cocobolo (if those exist).

I believe that's called an "Amber" or "Amber-Tinted" finish, sometimes "Vintage-Tint".
