I've had excellent results using old dried salami for "tort" pickguards. Bass players come up to me at all my shows and tell me it's the best looking tort they've ever seen.

No, you don't get it at all. An 810 wouldn't help, I get a way better sound with just one 8" speaker.
I'm planning on adding a DI in the distant future. After I do this tour, I'm booking myself into.

Oh, this opportunity is too good to pass up.

What is the best bass for metal?

I guess I'm just gonna have to repost this as something different on some other categories. Then maybe I'll get the answers I wanna hear if I actually listened.

Phil Jones makes a cab with a single 4mm driver. Perfect for small gigs and better dispersion than any 8” speaker available. It costs around $900 but is still cheaper than those FeArFFul things that are super overrated and not as good as my Crate cab. Also, you’re gonna need a Mesa D800 to power your GZR’s.

No, my bass is already the best bass for metal. I'm perfectly happy with it's metalness. I just want it to sound more metal.

P-basses are obviously better than jazz basses. If jazz basses are better then why didn't Leo build them first?

I'd put my Crate BX-60 up against anybody's rig with it's superior sound. I really need to use my Kustom for this world tour I'm planning to do.

So, if I put in a ground wire will it stop humming?

  12. Yes, It will also cook it to perfection.

I’d seriously consider upgrading that Crate with Markbass yellow speaker cones for more clarity on stage. The Crates can be hard to see through the haze of an always on fog machine.

I don't think my bass smells like Pee anymore. It did when it was new.
    I don't like Jazz.
I don't know anyone named "Leo".

  15. Or, like I said before, add an 810...make it an MarkBass 810.

Again with the 810. I have to do this with one 8 cause that's what I want. Nobody seems to wanna tell me how to get concert level sound with it here.

I'm not gonna change anything on the Crate. It's been an awesome amp and I found it in a dumpster behind a bar. It also makes a huge amount off smoke too.

I don’t change bass guitars or effects for different tone, I change hands, or just sit on my right hand till it’s numb, it changes my tone.
