What do you think is better, Gibson Echoplex or Electrix Repeater, I have heard bad and good things about both. Which do you think is a better product? Thanks, Nate
oh yea, what is a good drum machine that is capable of syncing with either of these? Are there any rack mountable ones? Thanks Nate
sorry, I keep forgeting questions, I am not sure if you know anything about it but, how are the delay sounds on the Boss VF-1? If it has a crappy delay function, what is a good dedicated delay unit(rack mountable)? How is the Line 6 Echo Pro? I hear only good things about it....Let me know what you think. Thank you very much, I promise this is the last question(I think!!! ) ......Nate
hi Nate, the Echoplex and the Repeater have very different features sets, so I guess it's down to which has the features you need for the music that you envisage - have a read of the spec lists at www.loopersdelight.com and decide which does it for you... ) Drum Machines - the Dr Rhythm drum machines by, I think, BOSS are really good, and midiable - they'll send MIDI clock data that will trigger both loopers. I'm not sure about Rack mount drum machines - I know of a few rack mount drum sound modules, but not with sequencing functions built in... the sounds that Michael Manring was getting with the VF1 on the tour that we did were amazing, and he was using a lot of delay, so it gets the thumbs up from me. If you've got more specific questions about the VF1, have a word with either Michael, or Ed Friedland... cheers! Steve www.steve-lawson.co.uk
