I never knew violinists could be so cool

    I was listening to so music online and decided to look up fusion under the jazz section. First song up was "egocentric molecules" by jean-luc Ponty (Violinist).I don't know who the bassist is/was for him but that dude/chick is amazing ! I looked up his "very best of..." album and there's a lot of cool basslines on there ! I think it's worth a listen esp. if you're new to fusion type stuff like me. Very cool (IMO)

    Yes it can be awesome.

    Jeff Berlin was a violin prodigy at age 6, so maybe your affinity for the instrument isn't very uncommon! ;)

    Looks like it must have been Ralphe Armstrong, on both the studio and live versions.
