    I built my ol' parts P-bass a brother to play with:D

    Nothing is classier than Tort on Black, sorry thats just my opinion!

    Fender Original P pickup for the guts and a vintage style bridge under the bridge cover.

    Nice pair. I'm surprised you didn't do the ol' 'one rosewood, one maple' thing, though.

    Very nice pair, nonetheless.

    Good point Roadkill. I think the main reason I didn't is I like tort WAYY too much and tort looks much better with Rosewood than maple in my opinion.

    Schweeet !!! Where'd you nab the Tort guards? Part # ?? Did the fit exactly? The one on the black P looks redder than the one on the white P.....

    Surprisingly, the pickguards were both Fender 62 re-issue guards. I knew the grains would be different of course, but I didnt think they'd be completely different colours and type of grain. Oh well, I like the variety. Its more red in the pictures than in person too.
