I ordered my bass

    I am sure I will rest a little better as soon as it arrives. I have had a few sleepless night thinking of buying the right bass. I bought a MIM Jazz. My music that I play will probably fit a P bass better but I just liked the jazz a little better. All the local stores had the 2001 which they all were priced at the 2001 sale price $419 for the sunburst. MF still had a few of the older ones which the difference is the knobs and the 2001 has had a pick up ugrade. I got the sunburst for $349. I have also ordered a tortise shell pick guard. My next upgrade will be pickups which I am still studying on what to get. I will be searching the pickup forums. It should be here by the end of the week. Thanks everyone for all the great info.

    Congrats, man.:) Enjoy!

    The MIM is a good value for the $$$, and there are a lot of mods you can do to it, since the Jazz is about the best selling bass design there is.
