  1. last weekend. It is one of the newer models - a Lado Std - made in Canada. Nech thru - P/J active EMG's - and so far so good. It plays , looks and sounds great. Got it used but mint. I will give a full review after a few more weeks with her !

Post pics. I haven't seen many Lado basses floating around.

    Congrats on the bass.

Looks nice. Sort of spectoresque. But I really love that finish. Even burst on the neck.

It kinda looks a lot like a Spector..
  6. That is the Medallion line... the poster said Standard which is something like this:

Lado's high end stuff is usually very good(their mid-range stuff is more bleh). Congrats on the bass!
  7. Yep - mine is the natural finished one in the pic !!!

i also have a medallion no 0148 (1980's ish) pretty much stole it due to condition. $50 canadian.

it was in rough cosmetic shape. somebody had done a 1/2 a#$ job at stripping the bass and restaining it. problem was they didn't remove all the original finish before restaining it a second time. needless to say it must have looked something awful because by the time i got the bass, 2/3's of the amatur mess had been sanded a second time.

i had no choice but to finish removing the mess.
its my fav. bass, and it pain's me to see her in this condition.

i've contacted lado to resotre it to its former glory.
anyway, figured i'd add a couple pic's to the collection.
  9. looks quite similar to a wick streamer imo - not that that is a bad thing!
