I'm @ my wife's office, so I have to keep it short.

It's a fret 5 string that is in stock. Roger is changing the chrome hardware to black. This is an actual picture of the bass. Do you think that my GAS is cured? I don't think so. I want a 4 string now. I'm SOOOOOO NUTS!!!! :D

In all seriousness, this will be the last bass I will buy in a LONG time. This & my Spector NS-5 USA will be the main one's w/either the Warmoth "Wanna-B" & the Spector NS-5 CR as back up's.

I'm hoping that if I say it enough times, it'll come true. LOL

The bass is in stock. Roger is going to change the chrome hardware to black but he is currently out of stoch on the black brigde. He said it'll take 2-3 weeks to get a new shipment of bridges in.

My wife didn't want me to sell my blue Spector. I'm not putting any cash out of my pocket. I'm selling a few things on eBay so she dosen't mind. She just told me to write that she thinks I'm "ABSOLUTLY NUTS!!!!" But I was like that when we met. :)

  10. I saw that bass on the site the other day. Looks great!

Cool! So you'll have a Sadowsky and still have 2 USA Spectors, right?

Man, that is about all that anyone could hope for.

Probably. You've just passed it on to me.;)

  14. I love my Sadowsky 4 string jazz (maple top on ash with maple neck). I pretty sure I'm going to order another Sadowsky PJ4 with figured maple on alder and Brazilian rosewood 'board before the year ends. I need it like, as JFK said, I need another hole in my head. However, when I played the same wood combo but with a Sadowsky PJ5 (not 4) I just remember being so seduced and smiling my heaad off with the tone and playability. :D

    Hey,

I would`ve taken the one in Sunburst, with the maple top:

I think it looks far better and it already has black hardware - nino ?

I liked the neck on the natural one much better. I felt it played eaiser. Also, I didn't like the quilt on it. See the bridge p/u? It has the streak above & below the p/u where the quilt seem to end.

P.S. When I went to his shop, he had a pair of Seymour Duncan Custom Basslines prototype p/u's in the sunburst bass. I gotta say it sounded sweet. I was very warm & punchy. Kinda reminded me of my Spector NS-5. I went with the EMG J's in the natural one because it was allitle more to my liking, but the only true test is playing w/the band live or in the studio & I wouldn't mind buying a set of these p/u later on. :)

  17. i agree , it's the way it plays that counts

i would also be conceous of that band in the top, just because it runs parallel to the bridge pup, i think u made the better choice with the natural Nino, it's a players instrument, the sunburst is nice , but it's a gloryified crotch extension.

also black hardwear looks so much better with lighter coloured bodies, i've got all black on my 5, birds eye maple, with the schaller tuners,

good buy man, hope you like it

  18. Congrats Nino, and welcome to the Sad. club. It looks beautiful.

It’s almost cured my GAS, although I still find it hard to resist a real bargain. :D
Be sure to let us know how you like it.
