I still can't tune my B to a G...

    When I tune to (B)CGCF, I can never manage for my tuner to get the B down to a G... What's the problem here?? _-soto-_
     
  2. Tune using harmonics. A low G is way too low for most tuners to detect.

    Your tuner isn't handling that low of a frequency. A very simple solution would be to play a first or second harmonic on the string you wish to tune (play a harmonic at the 12th or 5th fret to get one octave or two octaves higher with the same pitch, respectively).
