I think i am goin insane

    Just made a new cable to bridge me swr sm400s. I CANT TELL A DIFFERENCE! was i expecting too much? did i do somethin wrong? HELP

    well bridged its supposed to be at 500 watts. stereo its like 240-250. i figured double the watts would make a substantial volume difference.

    There should be some difference, but to get a substantial increase in volume you need more power than that.

    Double the power only gives you 3dB more SPL. That's just noticeably louder. Unfortunately, doubling your power doesn't really add much volume. So I'd guess you were expecting too much.
