Why doesn't Sadowsky use really cool-looking wood more often? I find all of their instruments to be elegant and tasteful, but this one definitely caught my eye. Soon, very soon I will make it into NYC to see if I can't try out a few of their instruments. Within the next year I will buy a bass, and I want it to be an instrument that I can treasure for a few decades. I also want one electric bass for all my needs... so I'm thinking a Sadowsky might be just the ticket.

He usually aims for vintage, which is just a solid color, but I must agree; that spalt is incredibly cool.
