so i bought this really cool pedal board and i was all excited to get my pedals set up and organized for easy gigging. so the day i do this my mutronIII decides to stop working! :scowl:

i've only had it for two years and it hasn't seen any hard times.

any ideas of how to get it fixed? local guys? mail? troubleshoot myself?

    help please! :crying:

Well, do you know anything about electronics ?

First, describe how does it non-function. No sound, even bypassed ? No sound only effect on ? SOund effect on, but uneffected ? Sound, but weird sound ? Do you noticed something strange before ? Does the switch make noise ?

i think it has true bypass. so even when it's off it will still let the signal from the bass pass.

so when the pedal is off (unengaged) it works (though i don't see the red "on" light.

when i hit the switch nothing.....no sound....no lights.

i don't know jack about electronics.

Possibly a power issue can you try powering it with another adaptor?

i tried three other adapters last night. i don't know if they work with it. i plan on putting batteries in it tonight and see if it works.

are there local guys that fix pedals or will i most likely have to mail it?

There may be local guys. Is it the original Mutron or is it the HAZ Labs version?

If it's the HAZ Labs version, call them at 908-453-3300. They're in NJ but would probably be the guys to fix it if you want it done right.
