I took the pick guard off of my HW1 Jazz and...

    The neck pickup routing is the old style routing! :D I'm leaving it off for a while 'cause it looks so ghetto :cool:

    I meant neck pickup.

    Fender has been using a cost-saving universal route for it's neck pickup. The HW1 dosen't use said universal (fugly) route, so it looks cool without the pick guard.

    Ah, very cool. I'm going to be builbing another Jazz Bass & I'm either gonna put a Clear p/g or no guard on it at all.
