i want to power two 4 ohm cabs

    yes, but keep in mind that your 3rd cabinet will drawing HALF your amps power. And make sure with your GK head you don't use a 4 conductor speakon connector with your new custom cable. (tweeter amp output on the 2nd legs of the speakon)

    No, you could add a 8 ohm cab in parallel, a 4 ohm cab would give your amp a 2.667 ohm load.

    your amp is running at 8ohms, another 8ohm load plugged into the parrallel speaker jack will give you your 4 :smug:
