I wanted to play bass and wear a horse head mask. Here's what happened.

I like the idea of making concise, professional(ish) videos that teach people how to play popular music in a fun way. This is my first video, and I think it turned out well. As such, any thoughts/ideas/criticism is much appreciated.

I intend to get suggestions from viewers and make videos for them, but I also plan on covering the classics, such as Michael Jackson ("Beat it" is going to be the next one), The Beatles, etc.

As a YouTube channel, I like to think this has a lot of potential for delivering the knowledge while being fun at the same time.

Thanks for taking the time to check me out!

Sure! I would learn songs from a guy in a horsehead mask & what ever else you got to put on your head. It's done pretty well :bassist: The only improvement I would recommend is to show some kind of text with the note names listed there in the slowed down part.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to give up sniffing glue.

Appears glue sales won't drop much as someone else has taken up the slack.

I know what comedy is, and this is it.
  10. God those horse head masks scare the hell out of me.

That aside, thank you for sharing.

Obvious answer to why wear a horse head while playing bass for a video, is that a giraffe head would not fit in the frame, (and of course, a rhinoceros head is usually used for drum videos).

The correct question would have been, "why the long face?"

    Good god, that's brilliant.

It was so good I almost picked up my bass to learn it, but my hatred for that song overrode the awesomeness of the video. But just barely.

    Nice job...

    That...is...great! Educational and bizarre!

Well done. Great tutorial, great mask.

BTW, I actually like that song, and I'm not into pop or dance music at all.
  16. Great idea to show the 3 shots on the slow down. And rockin' the Squier...Nice!

Awesome! Subscribed! Two major points I feel I should make, however.

#1 You need a mask where the neck stays down in the suit, so people will think you are a real horse.

#2 Three words: White Pocket Square
