    seen that before - very cool. The other interesting thing is that people tend to look at the tops of letters to determine what they are. Cover up the top half of a portion of text and a person will have a much harder time reading it than if you cover up the bottom half.

    incidentally, one of the reasons reading music can be challenging for some people is because they try and read note for note and forget about the bigger picture.

  7. Which is why most of those kids you knew in high school that just played in the schools band couldn't play there damn instruments out of that school band.

    I know there are exceptions, but a good portion of the people in orchestral school bands know jack s*** about theory.
