    ...And check it out!!

Over here in Swansea, we live so close to the sea it almost never snows (about twice a year, if that) so when it does no-one really knows what to do. Our school was one of the first to shut down after a burst pipe on Monday which flooded the hall, and a broken boiler on Tuesday... So looks like I'm off to kick some ass in a snowball fight. :bassist:

It's also St. Davids day (Welsh patron saint) today, supposed to be day of the daffodils... I can't see any! ;)

have a nice day all, just thought I'd share that with you!

Bruce...I like that picture, thank you.

In my jaded USA ideas about England, I envision the entire country to look like that with some castles, and those big red buses driving around. :D

it snowed once here all winter so far, wasn't cold enough to stay on the ground.

I miss the snow ... I used to live in ontario & we got heaps every winter, but it rarely gets cold enough here to get snow.. (Victoria, BC, Canada)

Did I see you in "Desperate Housewives"....;)

  19. Those aren't McMansions, though. They're late-'50s/early-'60s apartment buildings, typically with six or eight two-bedroom units in each.

The Canary Islands date palms are pretty awesome, though. They give my neighborhood its name: Palms. Ah, the 1880s, when people were less jaded and marketing was so much easier...
