The Craigslist ad says they need a vocalist, bassist, drummer and keyboard player.

I wonder what the current band members play.

    Can anybody guess????

    Yep. Band looking for band…

If you don’t already have your bass and drummer positions in place then you’re not a band AFAIC.

This page from the website is unintentionally hilarious. Formed in 2012? Must be awfully fussy about hiring. Almost seven years and you still need all those people? (Oh sorry… they’re called “assets” in the CL ad. How CIA!) ;)

Nor does the demo music on the website sound remotely (or even exotically) like any variety of metal I’ve ever heard.

Hmm…maybe it’s Tom Scholz. Y’know, sitting alone in his studio for the last seven years secretly creating his new band concept and record album. And now that it’s done he just needs to put together a band so he can go out and tour with it.

Hey, it worked for Boston. Why not stick with your old winning game plan, right? ;)

Thos is how 90% of all metal projects start. 1 guy writing and recording then looking for a band after the fact.

The music samples on the website are some of the strangest sounding metal that I've ever heard. I kinda want to hear a finished product of what that dude is trying to accomplish.

Along with the graphic, it sounds like a fantasy movie soundtrack.

What nonsense. Wrong to inverse proportions. 90% of Metal fans wont by a second album if the first did not have group writing credits.
Whomever has convinced you otherwise is ok much less the norm, escape their influence soon as you can

They have a trailer video on their website with some music samples:

The music itself isn't bad. I could definitely envision portions of it being in an epic Japanese RPG video game. However the sound quality is awful. The guitars sound like nails on a chalkboard.

But, yeah, the ad definitely sounds like an Arjen Lucassen wannabe looking for hired guns for his project.
