Just curious if anyone has tried this amp/cab combo and what they thought of it. I used to run a walkabout thru a Aggie 112 before and thought it sounded good but was maybe too "scooped" sounding. Would this combo be too sterile? I'm looking for a fairly flat response curve but also with good flexibility.

Thanks for any info - AJ

    bro, bro, bro!

you have stumbled upon one of Joker's FAV amp combo's!

like i said in another thread, the clear pure tone of the EA translates gorgeously thru the Bergie's sweet midrange glossy tone. its not THE most flat sounding rig, but colored in all the right ways.

and they look very snazzy together. ;)

regardless, a great combo worthy of anyone's investment!

if you're looking for a better companion to the clean EA for a flat response would be an Acme B2 Series II 2x10 cab. the Acme's are IMHO, one of the closests cabs that sounds like your bass DI'ed into a board. course, its not perfect, but darn scary.
