I'm thinking if getting one, but I get conflicting reports of tonewoods used. I take it they have changed in the span if 9-12 years of manufacture.

Most present sites list basswood bodies & rosewood fretboard. But some ebay vendors adamantly claim their brand newIbanez black 5-stding mikros have mahogany bodies. .

Earlier sites claim poplar is the body's material, & that the FB is Jatiba. I never heard if poplar as a body tinewoid & suspect a nose dive.

I've also seen a photo of a used Mikro 5 for sale & the FB's light & mist likely Jatiba.

    Can Antone set me straight?
