Ibanez active pups plus active EQ ?

    Guys,I have a 85 Ibanez Musician with low impedance(big soapbar) active pickups with passive controls.Any problems adding a active EQ circuit ? I'm assuming wire it in and add the second 9V battery for the preamp:confused:I thought about an off the shelf passive pup then add the EQ but the pickups are an odd size.Thanks
