I bought an old Ibanez ATK pickup (Triplecoil).

Is it possible to put it in a P-Bass in passive mode (without a Preamp)?
How to wire it to humbucking mode?

First, know a good repairman. Any pickup can be put into any bass. This one will require re-routing the hole it's going to sit in. Your repairman can check the pickup to see if it is still good as well as wire it so it will be in humbucking mode. Other options are available for that pickup, since it has three coils(series/single-coil/parallel). Good luck on your project. Cheers. ;^D.

The atk has 2 humbucker modes, doesn't it? Standard and "Attack".

Oh, thanks. That explains why I couldn't hear much difference between 1 and 2, that always puzzled me.

    It depends on the Amp-Setting.
On some settings you hear more difference than on others.
