Ibanez ATK800E - What do you guys think?

I've been eyeballing an ATK800E from Ibanez. I am usually not an Ibanez player, as I stick to Fender or Squier mostly for the Fender look and the fact I get the sound I like out of them. I am mostly a Jazz bass player but I have a parts-P-bass I also use frequently.

Now I'm looking to branch out. I'd ideally like to get a really "Punchy" bass. Does the ATK accomplish such a tone? Or would I be better off getting a Stingray? I've also been eyeballing the Brubaker Brute.

What do you guys think? What kind of tones can you get out of the ATK?
