    Hey everyone
Ive seen maybe one or two pics of the 'Black Eagle Bass' made by Ibanez. Does anyone know more about this bass, like when it was made and how rare they are? Or are there any websites that have info on it?
I thought it looked pretty cool from the pics i saw, but i have no idea about the p ups, electronics, or anything else about it.

They're basically black jazz bass copies with some eagle motif and a slot in the headstock if I remember well.

They are from the early Ibanez days when they mostly copied Fender & Gibsons.

The quality is not something to rave about. My first bass was a blond MN Jazz copy from those years. It was quite ok for the money then, but IMHO nowadays you can get better quality in that price range.

I've used them, they're nice basses, but they're so rare, I would think they'd be pretty expensive!
