    Hi guys

I own a 2001 sgr 485 Ibanez. I've noticed on the 2002 models, there is a different type of bridge. It seems beefier. I've also noticed the bridges on the ibanez srx 5 string guitars. They look simmilar but different. I'm wanting to upgrade my bridge. Should I perhaps go with one of those bridges (If so, which one) or should I go with a different one? I'm looking for better sustain and clarity, as well as a less floppy B string. I'd love to hear from you guys.

You can see those different bridges on the ibanez website under support and parts catalogue
  2. The bridge on the 2002 soundgear models are better for they are easier for changing strings.. The srx bridges don't. I think they are just heavier. If you're planning to get a better one, get the one on the 2002 soundgears.
