Ibanez BTB 405QM vs SRX705

    I'm torn between these two basses.

    The BTB405 is 35" scale bolt-on neck, quilted top. The SRX705 is 34" scale, neck-thru, ash wings.The BTB is only slightly more expensive than the SRX.

    Has anyone A/B tested these puppies?

    BTB, as I personally prefer the BTB body shape.

    Tough call. Hard to go wrong with a BTB, but I have experience with the pickups in the SRX and really like them.

    I got kind of lucky, because I have a BTB with SRX (PFR - Passive Full Range) pickups in it.
