Greetings all. Looking for a new 5 string. Thinking about a Musicman but I'm leaning more to the Ibanez BTB series. Love the wood. Looking used... Any sellers or thoughts? Thanks...

Please do a search. the keyword "BTB" will more than likely turn up alot of threads. this has been asked, and disscused before.

As far as MusicMan vs BTB. it's all a matter of choice. if you want tons of tones, deep tone and just a all around good bass, get the BTB. If you want that annoying nasel "Honk" the musicman gives you, than get it.

And for the money you would spend on that MM, You can get a VERY nice BTB.
  3. I love my BTB's they are great and sound great:D
  4. And her big brother:spit:
  5. Did i mentioned that they're great? the model is BTB 1005 (the old ones without bartolini pickups) i liked them because the string spacing is wide, the MM are kind of tight for my taste:D
  6. Yep, I also play a BTB and really love the tone. I have the black 5-string model, and yeah, the string spacing is great. If you can handle a wide neck bass, this is a fine choice.
