Ibanez btb1005

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by count_funkula, Feb 1, 2001.

  1. I'm in the process of finding a new bass. I currently have a American Fender Jazz Standard which I absolutely love. However, as good as it sounds, I want a second bass that has more versatility. I played an Ibanez btb1005 yesterday and loved it. I played it through an Ampeg B-50R and could dial in any sound I wanted. This may be the one!

Does anyone have any opinions or experienec with this bass?

    Thanks,

I am personally not a fan of the whole Ibanez Bass Series, but if the BTB is good for you go with it. But I would try out different modells in that price range, for example Warwicks or Spectors (Europe) - maybe a Dean or an ESP, too.

    Best luck !

count: If you like it, go for it.. I'ved tried out the Ibanez BTB series, and absolutely loved it too! I Think it was on sale for like $730 or something.. but Its a great great bass. Don't let anyone hold you back, if your heart says "I want this bass" then go for it ^____^ It is a great bass indeed

My opinion on the BTB? Best new bass that Ibanez has made in several years.

But play as many basses in your price range as you cna - who knows?

You may find something that you like even more!

    Good luck! :)
